In the IU Southeast School of Education, our goal is to develop high-quality, caring educators who will be leaders in continuously transforming schools and addressing challenges within the diverse society in which we live.

Dedicated to providing an excellent education in science, mathematics, and computing through teaching, scholarship, and research, the School of Natural Sciences’ courses offer small class sizes to ensure individual attention and ample opportunities to participate in research, so our students can achieve their full potential.

The mission of the School of Nursing is to prepare highly qualified, caring professionals to lead and meet the needs of today’s health care environment. Experiential learning is a top priority of this program. Among traditional classroom settings, students treat patients in a simulation lab, allowing them to become proficient in performing complex procedures. This creates confidence for providing care to patients in real-life care facilities.

Gain the knowledge and skills necessary to analyze information in a rational and logical manner, and communicate effectively. With degree programs in disciplines such as criminal justice, history, international studies, journalism, neuroscience, political science, psychology, and sociology, students enjoy small class sizes taught by highly credentialed faculty.

Don’t have a major yet? Don’t worry. We have you covered. For our undecided freshman students, the Exploratory program is a popular option that enables you to explore before declaring a major—ideally at the end of your first year. You’ll work through our Four-Step Guided Exploration Process with professional advisors in the Advising Center for Exploratory Students (ACES).

Pre-professional programs are bachelor’s degree programs designed to help prepare you for admission to graduate schools to pursue doctorate programs in law, medicine, dentistry, and more. Talk to you admissions counselor or academic advisor about the pre-professional program that interests you.

Pre-Dentistry Pre-Law Pre-Medicine Pre-Occupational Therapy Pre-Optometry

Note: Other than the Pre-Pharmacy program, these are not official degree programs. Your academic advisor will help you build a pre-professional program to fit your needs.

Do you have a particular interest or skills that needs building but don’t have time for a bachelor’s degree? One of our undergraduate certificates may work for you. Some of our certificates are Indiana NextLevel Jobs qualified, which means you may qualify for free tuition.
