From the Chancellor:
Dr. Ray Wallace

Dear Indiana University Southeast Friends:

I can’t thank you enough for your ongoing support of IU Southeast. Five years have passed since I was welcomed so graciously into the IU Southeast family as the university’s seventh chancellor. I said it five years ago, and I’ll say it now—as chancellor of IU Southeast, I have the best job any university leader could wish for.

Each year we pause to reflect on the impact we have made on the lives of our students, in our community and on the world. I am honored to present to you the IU Southeast 2018-19 Annual Report, which highlights just a few recent university accomplishments, recognizes the donors who have given back to our university through their philanthropic generosity and examines the financials of the institution and reports on enrollment and aid.

In these pages, you will read about one of our new sustainability initiatives on campus and an interesting study abroad trip in which students explored Jordan, South Africa and the Red Sea. You will also read about a unique donor whose generosity is helping to fund an important service-learning experience for our students and a grant from Duke Energy that helped us support and strengthen local nonprofit businesses.

These initiatives would not have been possible without the help of our community partners and IU Southeast supporters who share our mission to make this region the best home possible. I thank the people and agencies mentioned in this report for their dedication and support of our fine institution.

We are proud to be your IU campus.

Yours sincerely,

Dr. Ray Wallace
