From the Desk: “All the news that’s fit to digitize”

Dear Friends:

Welcome to the latest issue of the IU Southeast Digital Magazine.

It is my pleasure to introduce what is a very informative and attractive vehicle for all: “the IU Southeast news that’s fit to digitize.” In the future, we would like to increase the use of this electronic format to reach more of our current faculty and staff as well as the thousands of alumni.

In this issue, you will find interesting multimedia articles about a recent School of Businessstudy abroad trip to New Zealandfrom a graduating senior’s perspective, analumna who helps womenin our area enter the workforce and succeed in their career goals, and an exciting bit of news concerning the newest addition on campus:Horizon Radio, IU Southeast’s new 24-hour internet radio station.

Additionally, check out a great article about one of our alumni board members who aids overseas service personnel. Add to this list some great photographs from last fall’s Homecoming festivities, and you can see why our alumni love coming back to their campus.

This magazine also provides an exhaustive list of upcoming events for our alumni. We really would like to see even more participation from our great alumni. We want to hear from you, and we want to see you at our forthcoming events.

So, drop us a line or shoot us an email at webpubre@ius.edu and let us know how you like the magazine and update us on what you have been up to since leaving IU Southeast.

Sincerely,

Dr. Ray Wallace
